Why use the Credential Registry?
Traditionally, job and study applications require paper diplomas and transcripts. Educational institutions spend significant resources producing and mailing documents; employers and universities spend time and money confirming whether documentation is genuine.
ICER does this in a secure, digital, and resource-efficient way. The service was established through an international consortium of education ministries and quality assurance agencies, modeled on national diploma registries such as Norway's Diploma Registry operated by Sikt.
